Today we went to the cemetery.
This is my family plot
Battistina is my great grandfather's sister. This is her and her family. Lorenzo who we are visiting is her grandson.
In Italy families are buried with each other on top of each other.
they go down very deep and bury them on top of each other.
people that are cremated they end up putting in the wall, or after so many years they dig up what's left and put in a wall.
Cemeteries are very clean and well taken care of.
There are pictures of every one on the stones. Makes it 
so much more personal
