My Lifes GREATEST Blessings

Here is one reason it took me so long to agree to go to Italy with my father.

My dear husband Greg

Here is another:

our daughters Heather and Sarah

And another:

Heather and her husband Shawn and their 4 little sweeties!

And another:

We love our grandchildren so much!! Aren't they the cutest kids you have ever seen!!!

For those of you that have not met my family, these people I love more than life itself.  They are the greatest blessings in my life!

It is very hard for me to say goodbye to people.  I am a very emotional person.  My parents come up to visit in the summer or at Christmas and I can't say goodbye to them, I cry.  My sister or brother come to visit from Texas, and I can't say goodbye, I cry.  I cried a lot when my girls would get on the school bus even when they were older!!  I cry at weddings no matter who is getting married, I cry at baptisms, I cry at parades when I hear drum and bugle corps (memories for me) Just ask my girls, I cry big time when I hear Silent Night.  I have embarrassed my girls through the years with my tears.  I can honestly say I take after my Nonnie.  Which by the way, is one Italian word that may still be used over there.  Nonnie is Italian for grandmother and I loved my nonnie dearly.  She cried a lot too and I take right after her.

I will miss my family a great deal while gone!  I am hoping someone will help Greg figure out Skype, and with the big time difference maybe can use it to talk with them while gone.

Phone calls will be hard, short and sweet.  First the time difference makes it hard, then it will be $.99 a minute, and that can sure add up quick.  Hopefully Sarah can download Viber (thanks Joanne!) and we can figure that out!!!

Even though this is the trip of a lifetime, and how precious to spend time with the first man I loved in my life, I will miss my family dearly!!!
